グレース・ジョーンズ 2、パーク・ウェスト・シアター、シカゴ、イリノイ州 1978

I hung this right above my desk, and the contrast in the black-and-white really makes her expression pop. The paper has a nice matte finish that doesn’t glare under my lamp.

The way her costume and pose are frozen mid-performance makes it feel like you're standing in that Chicago crowd back in '78. The black-and-white treatment adds a gritty, raw energy that color just couldn't capture. It's been up on my wall for two weeks and I still catch myself staring at it.

The contrast in this print really makes her costume and expression pop off the wall. I’ve got it framed in the hallway and it stops everyone who walks by. Exactly the wild energy I wanted from that 1978 show.
