The layered hand-dipping really shows in the cobalt color—it's rich and even all the way down the candle. They burned clean for a full dinner party without any dripping, which I was worried about with a darker taper. Nice to have candles that actually look as good lit as they do on the shelf.
Burned one of these over a long dinner and it was still going when we finally cleared the table. The 10.5 hour burn time isn't just marketing, they really do last through multiple evenings of use before needing a replacement.
The cobalt color is even richer in person than on screen, and you can really tell they were dipped layer by layer because there's no streaking anywhere. Burned one through a long dinner and it held up past the ten hour mark without dripping.
