The 2X side is perfect for fixing my eyeliner on the train, and I haven't had to swap the batteries yet. The LED light on this little mirror is surprisingly bright and makes the 2X side actually useful in dim restaurants. It's slim enough that I forget it's in my purse until I need it, and the ribbon detail is adorable without being childish. I got one in my purse and one in my desk drawer because they're so slim they disappear until you need them.
