ジャニス・ジョプリン、自宅キッチンでのクローズアップ、サンフランシスコ、1969年

The intimacy of that 1969 kitchen scene is what gets me every time—her expression feels so unguarded, and the black-and-white grain really sells the era. It's become the centerpiece of my living room wall, and guests always stop to stare at it.

The grain and contrast in this print make her kitchen feel so alive, like I'm right there with her in 1969. It captures that raw, intimate side of Janis you never see in concert shots, and the black-and-white tones are perfect for the mood.

I really like the candid, unposed feel of this photograph, and the lighting captures her expression perfectly. The print quality is excellent with deep blacks and sharp details. My only tiny complaint is that the frame could have been a bit sturdier for the price.
