ジェリー・ガルシア、ハリウッド・ボウル、ロサンゼルス、カリフォルニア州、1974年7月21日

Ron Rakow really captured the moment here, and the Hollywood Bowl crowd haze adds this gritty texture that makes the whole thing feel alive. The paper has a nice matte finish that keeps glare down, so it holds up well even in a bright room.

The black-and-white contrast really makes Jerry pop against the dark stage, and you can tell it’s shot right in the thick of that 1974 energy. Ron Rakow captured a moment that feels both candid and iconic, exactly what I wanted for my music room wall.

The photo captures Jerry mid-strum with such sharp detail that I can almost hear the Hollywood Bowl crowd. Ron Rakow's black-and-white shot really nails that 1974 energy, and the print quality makes the shadows pop perfectly.
