ジム・モリソン、ハリウッド・ボウル、ロサンゼルス、カリフォルニア、1968年

The way the stage lights catch Jim's silver necklace in this print makes it feel alive—you can almost hear the crowd. It captures that raw, intimate moment when it was just him and one other photographer in the pit. Definitely looks incredible framed in my study.

I’ve always wanted a shot that captures the raw energy of that 1968 Hollywood Bowl show, and this print delivers perfectly. The clarity in Jim’s silhouette against the stage lights is stunning, especially knowing there was only one other photographer there that night.

The composition is perfect—he’s mid-motion with the mic, and the black-and-white contrast makes the stage feel electric. I keep noticing new details in the crowd shadows every time I walk past it on my wall.
