The way that unglazed Bizen clay catches the light changes every hour, and the sharp modern silhouette makes it feel at home on my desk next to a laptop. It's a small piece but it carries real presence.

The angular cut feels almost impossible in my hand—sharp lines that somehow soften when you hold it. I've had sake cups before, but this one makes the whole ritual feel more deliberate, like the Kamakura-era clay is still doing its quiet work.

The faceted sides catch the light in this soft, earthy way that feels ancient and futuristic at once, and it sits perfectly on my desk without taking over. I catch myself just turning it around to admire the clay’s texture between sips.
