The hand-dyed merino gives it this gorgeous depth of color that photos don’t quite capture, and the 3.5" size sits perfectly on a little one’s head. The alligator clip held firm through a whole afternoon of play, which is exactly what I hoped for.
I clipped this on the right side of a simple ponytail and it instantly dressed things up. The alligator clip actually holds without sliding, and you can tell it was hand-knit by the little variations in the wool.
The merino wool is way softer than I expected and it doesn't itch at all, even on my fine hair. The alligator clip actually stays put through a whole workday, which is more than I can say for most bows I've tried.
