The alligator clip is really sturdy — I've been wearing it all day and it hasn't slipped once. The knit detail is surprisingly intricate for such a small bow, and the wool feels lovely against my fingers.
The hand-dyed merino has this subtle color variation that you just don't get from machine-made bows. I clipped it on the right side of my hair and it held through a whole afternoon of errands.
