The black oak finish is what sold me, and in person the grain looks even better. The armrests sit at just the right height for resting my elbows while I knit, which honestly I didn't expect from a chair this sculptural.

Sat in this for a three hour reading session and my lower back never once complained, which says a lot for a chair this sculptural. The angled seat and that curved backrest just sort of catch you right where you need it. Only wish I'd bought it sooner.

The black oak frame looks even better in person than in the photos, and the armrests sit at just the right height for reading. The backrest angle is what sold me, you can sink into it for an hour without your shoulders aching.
