フランス、ヴァロンソル
オーストラリアのタスマニアでラベンダー畑の初期のギャラリー作品を撮影して以来、南フランスのプロヴァンス地方を撮影することをずっと夢見てきました。そこには最も美しいラベンダー畑があります。 魅力と歴史の組み合わせが、この夢を本当に実現させてくれました。期待をはるかに超えるものでした。
プロヴァンスの趣のある小さな村々や裏道を五週間かけて探し歩いた後、この魔法のような風景がようやく現れました。それは過酷な一週間でした。夢のショット「ル・レーヴ」を撮るために必要な光と雰囲気を捉えるまで、毎日午前3時起きで20時間の日々が続きました。最終的なイメージは、そこにいたときの感覚を正確に物語っています。美しさの感覚的な洪水と、ラベンダーの紛れもない心を落ち着かせる香りです。
The Valensole lavender rows have this hazy violet depth that makes the whole wall feel calmer. Print quality is sharp, colors haven't faded after a few months near a bright window. Ordering it was the best impulsive decision I've made this year.
