That forged steel tine is seriously sturdy—it took out a whole patch of dandelions without bending a millimeter. The lacquered handle feels great in my hand and the curved prong gets right under stubborn roots.

The curved prong reaches deep between my peonies without nicking the crowns, and the flattened tine slices through compacted soil like butter. Handle feels solid in the hand, and after a full afternoon of digging, my wrist isn't complaining.

Bought this for weeding between tight rows of carrots and the curved 3 1/2" prong gets right in there without disturbing the roots. The stainless ferrule feels rock solid where it meets the handle, though I wish the tine were just a touch wider for bigger jobs.
