Neil Young, Malibu, 1975

The history behind this photo—taken just days before the house burned—gives it a haunting, precious feel. The print quality really brings out the warmth of the Malibu light on the wooden porch. It's a quiet, powerful piece that speaks to a lost moment.

You can almost feel the ocean breeze in this shot—it's haunting knowing the house was gone days later, yet the image feels so calm and alive. The print quality really captures the grain of the original film, making it feel like a true artifact.

The intimacy of his Malibu home in 1975 comes through so clearly, especially knowing it was lost days later—makes it feel like a quiet piece of history. The print quality is sharp enough to see the texture in the wood behind him, which I wasn't expecting.
