ニーナ・シモン ニューポート・ジャズ・フェスティバル、1966年

The way her intensity comes through in this print is almost unsettling in the best way—you can feel the crowd’s energy just by looking at it. Framed it in my living room and guests always stop to ask about it. A stunning piece of artistry.

The black-and-white print captures her mid-performance with so much intensity that I can almost hear the crowd. It’s framed perfectly and the contrast on the paper makes the emotion in her face feel timeless.

I had goosebumps the moment I unboxed this print—the way Nina Simone’s expression is frozen mid-performance feels so raw and intimate. The paper has a subtle matte finish that really makes the black-and-white shades pop on my wall.
