The cardamom and coriander give it a fresh, spicy opening that I wasn't expecting from a woody scent, and it settles beautifully into the cedar and sandalwood. I've worn it three times now and get compliments every time.
The black hemlock and violet combo is what got me — it's green and slightly bitter at first, then the amber and sandalwood soften it down over a few hours. Wore it to a dinner and kept catching it on my scarf the next morning.
I've never smelled a woody scent this smooth — the black hemlock and violet keep it from going sharp, and the cardamom gives it a warm edge I wasn't expecting. Wore it to dinner and caught whiffs of the sandalwood all night.
