オーストラリア、フレーザー島
撮影に出かけているとき、私は常にイメージの中のムードや感情を追い求めています。カメラはただ画像を記録するだけですが、プリントは解釈の余地があります。私はフレーザー島のマッケンジー湖の岸辺まで完全な暗闇の中をハイキングし、岸辺に三脚を設置しました。夜明けが忍び寄るにつれ、見事な紫色の輝きが地平線に広がり、霧がこの静寂の情景に忍び寄り、シャッターの音だけがそれを破りました。前景の葦は、この構図に静謐な要素を加え、ショットに繊細なバランスをもたらしました。自然と一体になることは、とても力強く、心が高まる感覚です。それが私が生きる理由であり、このような瞬間を捉えて皆さんと共有することです。
The way the morning light plays across the sand and water in this print pulls me right back to that shore—it’s got a real depth you don’t see in most art prints. The texture of the paper adds something tactile that makes it feel more like a painting than a photo.
Hangs above our couch and the Fraser Island shoreline shot has this hazy, early-light calm that fits the name. Print quality is sharp, though the paper has a slight sheen that catches glare from our window depending on the time of day.
The colors in this print are genuinely striking, and the paper has a nice weight to it. That said, the actual print is a bit smaller than I pictured from the listing photos, so it feels underwhelming on the wall space I had in mind. It's a decent piece, just not quite what I expected.
