The side-open style has a clean, crisp feel against my skin — the percale weave is noticeably breathable and cool through the night. Washing them held up fine, though I'm careful since they're final sale.
The back envelope closure keeps everything tucked in so neatly, no more mid-sleep pillow wrestling. These are my first percale cases and the crisp, cool feel is exactly what I hoped for.
