I was a bit skeptical about percale sheets since I prefer sateen, but the lined satin stitch border gives these a really polished finish that doesn't feel stiff. They've been through a few washes already and the embroidery looks just as crisp as day one.

The scalloped embroidery along the edges gives our bed an instant, polished lift without feeling fussy. The percale weave is crisp and cool, exactly what I hoped for warm nights.

The embroidered scalloped edges are even more delicate in person, and the satin stitch border gives the sheets an heirloom feel that’s hard to photograph. I’ve washed them twice already and the percale only got softer, no puckering anywhere.
