The handcrafted finish makes this look way pricier than it was, and the offset shape throws light exactly where I wanted it along the garden path. Rain hasn't bothered it at all since I put it up last month.
We mounted it on the brick wall by our back door and the warm LED glow spills beautifully across the patio at night, exactly the offset effect we hoped for. Being handcrafted and safe for outdoor use was the clincher for us, and the finish has held up through a week of rain so far without a mark.
The handcrafted feel is obvious the moment you touch the shade—you can tell real care went into it. I mounted it on our covered porch and the warm LED glow looks just as good outdoors as it does in the hallway.
