ロバート・メイプルソープとパティ・スミス、ニューヨーク、1969年

The way they’re both leaning in with that cool, unbothered confidence—it’s like the photo crackles with 1969 energy. The black-and-white tones give it a timeless grit that fits my apartment’s gallery wall perfectly.

The black-and-white grain feels so raw and authentic, like I'm peeking into that 1969 moment myself. Those confident poses really capture the creative energy of the era, and the print quality does the photograph justice.

Hanging this on my studio wall made the whole room feel more alive—the confident poses and that gritty 1969 NYC vibe come through perfectly in the black-and-white. The print quality really captures the texture of their expressions, exactly the edgy energy I was hoping for.
