Been tracking my space heater and dryer separately with this for three weeks, and the wattage readings line up almost exactly with what my utility meter shows. That kind of accuracy makes it way easier to figure out which appliance is actually bleeding money.
The power monitoring is impressively accurate — I compared it against my utility meter and the readings matched within a few watts. Being able to see exactly what my space heater draws in real time has already helped me cut back. Setup in the app was straightforward, though you do need a Z-Wave hub
Paired this with my hub in about five minutes and the power readings match my clamp meter almost exactly. The long-range Z-Wave means it still responds instantly from the far end of the garage. Nice to finally see what my space heater actually costs me.
