無垢オーク、ラッカー仕上げ

The lacquer really pulls out the grain in a way an oil finish never did on my old chairs. Ran a hand over the seat after a year of daily use and it still feels smooth, no dulling at all.

Was worried a lacquered finish would look too glossy, but it's actually a soft sheen that lets the oak grain show through. It's held up great on our chairs too, no rings from sweaty glasses so far.

The lacquer really does pull the grain out of the oak in a way oil never did for me. I brushed it on the Harbour chairs and the finish dried even, no brush marks. Two coats and the wood feels almost like glass.
