The bitter orange note cuts through the chocolate beautifully, keeping it from being cloying. I get a solid 8 hours of wear from just two sprays.
I expected this to be too sweet, but the bigarade up top keeps the chocolate from going syrupy, and it lingers on my scarf for a full day. It's the first gourmand I've owned that still smells grown-up on me.
The chocolate and vanilla dry down is rich without turning syrupy, and the bigarade up top keeps it from feeling like dessert. I wore it to dinner and caught it on my scarf the next morning, still warm and woody. Genuinely one of the best gourmands I've tried.
