The texture is spot-on—creamy without being mushy, and the heat level is gentle enough that I can add my own kick if I want. I've been keeping a couple of the 250g pouches in my cupboard for nights when cooking feels like too much effort, and they've saved me more than once.
The smell when you open the pouch is warm and earthy, and the lentils hold their shape without turning mushy. I've been keeping a couple in my work bag for days when I don't have time to cook, and it's genuinely satisfying for a ready meal.
These 250g pouches have been a lifesaver for busy weeknights, the spiced flavor is rich without being too heavy. I just heat one up and it's a proper meal on its own, though I usually add a bit of rice to stretch it for two.
