Spinal Tap, CBGB, NYC, 1984

The black-and-white print captures the exact chaotic energy of their CBGB backstage vibe. My only surprise is how much character comes through in the expressions of each band member, even in a still. Perfect for any fan of the scene.

I framed this one and the detail in the CBGB backstage photo is incredible—you can almost hear the amps hissing. The black-and-white tones capture the era perfectly.

The backstage shot captures all five band members in character perfectly—Kaff and Guest look like they're about to break into a quiet argument. Framing is tight and the print quality brings out the grime of CBGB, which is exactly what I wanted.
