どれほど遠くへ、そして頻繁に旅をしても、アンテロープキャニオンに戻ることはいつも私にとって特別なことです。季節を問わず、忍耐強く、どこを見るべきかを知っていれば、狭いスロットキャニオンにはいつも捉える価値のある素晴らしい何かがあります。夜が明けるにつれて、光が強すぎて、キャニオンの奥深くを照らすために長いシャッタースピードを使えないのではないかと心配しました。幸いなことに、午前遅くに強い西風が吹き、キャニオンの上から砂を舞い上げました。隙間から漂い落ちる砂が、太陽の光線をはっきりと浮かび上がらせました。その日、撮影に最適な時間はわずか10分間しかありませんでしたが、世界と共有するための一連の露出をなんとか撮影することができました。
Antelope Canyon looks completely different depending on the season, and this print captures that quiet moment when the beam finally hits the sandstone floor. I've been there twice and still stare at it like I'm standing in the canyon again.
The way the light comes through Antelope Canyon at different times of year is unreal, and this print actually captures that glow rather than flattening it. I've had it framed for a month and still catch myself staring at it like I'm back on the canyon floor.
The image captures that warm glow you only see in certain spots, but it’s a bit darker than I’d hoped for a fine art print. The detail in the rock texture is nice, though I wish the highlights popped more.
