Draining a whole pot of pasta one-handed is way less awkward now that this thing doesn't tip over in the sink. The square shape actually fits my small colander better than the round one did, and nothing slides out the sides.
The vertical handle is the best part, honestly — it stands up on its own in the sink so I can dump pasta water one-handed instead of juggling a wobbly bowl. The square shape also fits my narrower sink basin way better than my old round one did.
