タロット エソテリカの図書館

The deck included in this set is surprisingly sturdy, with a matte finish that shuffles smoothly without sticking. I've been reading the essays on the Rider-Waite symbolism and it's already deepened how I look at my own spreads.

The way this book traces tarot’s shift from esoteric practice to cultural mirror is fascinating—Jessica Hundley’s text pairs with the artwork so well that I kept flipping back and forth. It’s dense but never dry, and the visual layout makes it feel like a museum exhibit you can hold.

The deep-dive into tarot's cultural shadow history is exactly what I wanted, and Hundley’s writing makes the dense topic feel accessible without dumbing it down. The visual layout is stunning, with so many rare artworks that I keep flipping back to pages I’ve already read.
