I've been hammering pushdowns with this thing for a few weeks now and the braided nylon hasn't frayed or stretched a bit, even with the cable rubbing against it at odd angles. The finish is smooth enough that my grip doesn't slip when my hands get sweaty, though I do wish the knot at the top didn't
The grip is just right for heavy pushdowns, not too thick or slippery even when my hands get sweaty. I've had thinner ropes that fray after a few months, but this braided nylon hasn't shown any wear yet.
The braided nylon feels seriously solid in my hands, no slippage even when my palms get sweaty on pushdowns. I've been hitting it three times a week for two months and the weave hasn't loosened a bit.
