The gathered cotton gives the shade such a soft, warm glow when the lamp's on, and the 16cm size sits perfectly on my little bedside base. The dot print is subtle enough that it doesn't fight the room, but you can still tell it's block printed up close.

The oxblood block print is what sold me, but the gathered cotton has this slightly nubby texture that looks way more expensive than it cost. It's only 16cm, so it works perfectly on the little brass bedside lamp I'd been ignoring for years.

Swapped out my plain linen shade for this oxblood one and the warm glow it throws across the wall is unreal. The block printed dots have a slightly raised texture you can actually feel when dusting it. Fits my small brass lamp base perfectly at 16cm.
