I’ve been a fan for decades, and this 1972 NYC shot really captures his raw stage energy—the black-and-white contrast is perfect. It arrived well-packaged and looks fantastic in a simple frame.

The grain and contrast in the silver gelatin print pull you right back to that smoky 1972 club energy, and the signed certificate from the gallery adds real provenance. Framed it in my office, and now every time I glance over, I catch myself staring at the raw intensity in his eyes.

The matte finish on this print gives it a timeless archival feel, and the way the stage light catches his eye really pops against the dark background. I’d have liked a bit more detail in the shadow areas, but it’s still a striking piece for the price.
