Allman Brothers, Gregg Allman, 1974

Lynn Goldsmith really captured Gregg mid-thought here, and the archival quality of the print makes every line in his face feel sharp. I've had it up in my studio for a week and keep finding new details in the shadows.

The lighting in this print really brings out the intensity in Gregg's expression during that 1974 show. It's now the centerpiece of my music room, and the detail is sharp even up close.

The way Goldsmith captures Gregg mid-performance in this 1974 shot makes you feel the sweat and smoke of the room, and the print's archival quality keeps every shadow razor-sharp. It's the kind of piece that turns a hallway into a conversation starter.
