The print captures the old-timey feel of Cairns perfectly, with the smoke and sugarcane field looking almost like a faded postcard. It's a nice slice of local history that we don't see anymore, and the detail on the fire is sharp enough to make you look twice.
Bought this as a gift for my dad, who grew up in Cairns, and he got a bit teary seeing that old green-cane harvest scene. The print quality really brings out the smoky sky and the rarity of the moment.
Brought back so many memories of growing up in Cairns — the image captures that fiery glow perfectly. The print quality is sharp, and it's a real conversation starter on my living room wall.
