찰스와 레이: 놀이하는 디자이너

The way it frames Ray's painting background as the missing piece to Charles's architectural thinking really clicked for me, especially the section on how they tackled structure and color together. I read it in one sitting and immediately wanted to rework my own studio space.

The way this book weaves Charles’s architectural eye with Ray’s painterly touch is spot-on, and the section on how they used shape and color together really made me see their partnership in a new light. My kids actually sat still through the whole thing, which never happens with our other art books.

The way the book weaves their individual backgrounds—Charles the architect, Ray the painter—into one collaborative story really made the structure click for me. It's a quick read but leaves you thinking about how design can transform the everyday.
