Washed it once before putting it on the bed and it came out even softer. The four layers of organic cotton give it a real weight without feeling hot, which I didn't expect from cotton. My only issue is that it wrinkles easily, but I stopped caring after the first night.

I was worried this would feel stiff like my old cotton duvet, but the supple stretch makes it drape nicely over the bed. It's heavier than I expected too, which I love on cold nights. Washed it once already and it came out just as soft.
