Skinning a mess of trout after Saturday's catch felt almost effortless—that rapier-thin taper slid right under the skin without tearing anything. The 6-inch length is perfect for working around the ribcage, and the handle stayed secure even with wet hands.

That wicked taper isn't just for show—it glides through trout like butter and stays nimble enough to work around pin bones without shredding the meat. The handle has a solid, balanced grip even when my hands are slick from cleaning fish, which I didn't expect at this price point.

The taper on this blade is ridiculous—it’s so thin at the tip that it slides through trout skin like butter, and I can feel the bone better than with my old knife. Cleaned six fish without a single snag, and the handle gives a solid grip even when wet.
