The black color is so deep and even all the way down the candle, which makes sense since they’re crafted layer by layer. I lit them for a long dinner and they held up beautifully for the full 10.5 hours without dripping much.
I've been burning these on my dinner table for about a week and the black dip is still perfectly even, no weird pale patches near the top. Ten and a half hours of burn each is no joke either, they last through several dinners.
These black tapers look so much richer than the cheap ones I usually grab, and the color goes all the way through instead of flaking off. Burned one through a long dinner and it held its shape the whole time.
