I hung this above my desk and keep catching myself staring at the delicate leaves instead of my screen. The backlighting on the maple branches makes the whole wall feel warmer in the afternoon.

The way the late afternoon light filters through the maple branches makes the whole room feel warmer, like I’m standing right there in Portland. It’s been on my wall for two weeks now and I still catch myself staring at the individual branch details every time I walk past.

The backlit leaves in this print are so vivid it feels like I'm still standing under that maple in Portland. I've stared at the branching detail for minutes each time I walk past it, and it somehow calms my whole living room.
