Kernel the Giant Candy Corn Softie (Crochet)

The finished Kernel is huge—like, actually usable as a nap pillow huge—and the rag-doll style makes it feel sturdy enough for a real hug. I stitched on a sleepy face and now it’s the best thing on my couch.

I've been crocheting for years, and this giant candy corn pattern worked up so quickly—the rag-doll style body is a nice change from standard amigurumi. My daughter already claimed it as her nap pillow, and the face embroidery really lets you customize his personality.
