The quilted exterior gives me a better grip than my old silicone mitts, and the extra length on the forearm is a lifesaver when pulling roasting pans out of the oven. I’ve washed it twice already and it still looks and feels just as sturdy.

Finally, an oven mitt that actually reaches past my wrist. The quilted linen outside feels sturdy but flexible, and my forearm stays completely cool even when I’m pulling a hot sheet from the top rack.

I was a bit skeptical about linen for an oven mitt, but the padding is thick enough that I felt zero heat when pulling a casserole out of the oven. The gray-blue color is a nice change from standard kitchen gear.
