The set arrived well-packaged and the linen is noticeably thick, which feels like it'll hold up for years. I've washed it twice already and the texture just gets better, plus the Java color is deeper and richer in person than on screen.
The first night I slept in these, I noticed how the linen softened up immediately—no scratchy breaking-in period at all. The Java color is deeper and richer in person, and the pillowcases have that relaxed, lived-in drape that makes the bed look styled without trying.
I was a little worried linen would feel scratchy, but these sheets are smooth from day one and got even softer after the first wash. The Java color is somehow both warm and neutral, so it goes with my whole bedroom without fighting the decor.
