Louis Armstrong, Newport Jazz Festival, 1955

The grain of the photo print really brings out the texture of Armstrong's trumpet and his expression. It instantly makes my living room feel like a smoky club from that era.

I've had this hanging above my desk for a month and I still stop to look at it every single day. The black-and-white tones capture the pure sweat and joy of that Newport stage, and the energy really jumps off the paper. It's like a little piece of jazz history right in my living room.

The contrast in this print really makes the crowd and Armstrong pop, capturing that 1955 Newport energy perfectly. It’s already a conversation starter in my living room, and the paper quality feels substantial.
