I love that this socket comes pre-primed—saved me an extra trip to the hardware store. The brass face paints on smoothly and matches my wall perfectly.

The primer coat means I didn’t have to sand or prep anything—just wiped it clean and rolled on two coats of my wall color. It vanished into the plaster perfectly, and the socket itself feels solid and sturdy once it’s clipped in. Exactly the tidy, disguised finish I was after.

The pre-primed brass face took the paint perfectly, blending right into my wall. It was easy to install and looks much neater than the old white plastic socket, though the paint did need a couple of coats for full coverage.
