맹검스 드래곤 테일

The way this fly undulates through the water is incredibly realistic, and it triggered an aggressive strike within my first few casts. It’s become my go-to pattern when I need to add more swimming action to entice the fish.

I picked up a few of these Dragon Tail patterns for an upcoming trip, and the first cast already impressed me with how the tail pulses even on a slow retrieve. It consistently gets noticed by picky trout in slower pools.

The tail's swimming action in the current really does look natural, and I'm already seeing more strikes. Only wish it came in a slightly smaller hook size for the finicky trout I'm usually after.
