마일스 데이비스, 탱글우드 뮤직 페스티벌, 레녹스, 매사추세츠, 1970

The grain in the black-and-white print gives Davis this almost otherworldly presence, like he's mid-thought rather than mid-note. I keep staring at the way the light catches his trumpet. It's a piece that makes my living room feel like a private box seat to history.

I was blown away by the clarity of the black-and-white print—you can almost feel the energy from that 1970 Tanglewood set. The photo captures such an intense moment of Davis playing.

The contrast in the print is gorgeous—Miles looks so present, almost mid-thought. I’ve got it framed in my listening room and it completely sets the mood.
