Red Hot Chili Peppers, 1989

Got this framed in my studio and the detail in the grain of that old 1989 photo is unreal, you can practically feel the sweat in that club. The fact it's the only shot of them with Dead Kennedy's makes it a real conversation piece, and the paper quality holds up even up close under light.

The print arrived crisp and the story behind it—Flea puking on the crowd at sound check—makes it feel like a wild piece of history you can hang. The black-and-white grain adds a raw energy that matches the era perfectly. Already framed it above my desk and it's a conversation starter every time.
