Rob Halford (back) Judas Priest, 1984

The back view of Halford mid-performance is such a smart choice for black and white, you almost feel the crowd noise. Mine arrived well packaged with no bends in the print, and the contrast in the shadows holds up even in a dim hallway.

I hung this in my office and the back-of-the-stage angle makes it feel like you're standing in the wings during the 1984 show. The black-and-white contrast holds up close, and the paper itself has a nice weight to it.

The black-and-white grain on this print is gorgeous, way richer than I expected from a photograph. Hung it above my record shelf and the back-facing shot of him mid-performance gives the whole corner a moodier feel.
