The brightening effect is real—my lips look noticeably more polished after a few days of use, and it sits nicely under lipstick without that greasy feel. It's become my go-to for the red lip days.
I was skeptical about a lip balm claiming to brighten, but after using this for a week, my lips do look a bit more even-toned. The formula is really smooth and not sticky at all, which is a huge plus.
The vegan formula is a nice bonus, and it does give my lips a subtle brightening effect that I wasn't expecting. Only giving four stars because I wish the tube were a bit bigger for the price.
