촬영하기에 가장 좋아하는 시간은 황혼입니다. 새벽이든 해질녘이든, 빛의 질과 분위기는 비교할 수 없습니다. 날씨에 닳은 목재 부두 앞 허비 베이의 모래사장에 앉아 있던 그 특별한 아침을 결코 잊지 못할 것입니다. 끝없이 펼쳐진 바다가 내 앞에 펼쳐져 있었고, 일출의 파스텔 색조가 수평선 위로 빛을 발산했습니다. 이 이미지의 단순함과 평온함은 그때 제가 느꼈던 감정을 정확히 전달합니다.
Dawn light has this softness that's nearly impossible to describe, and this print actually captures it instead of blowing it out into harsh orange. I've got it hanging near my desk and it genuinely makes me want to get up earlier.
The mood of that morning light on the jetty is captured so well, the haze sitting over the water just like I remember from dawn shoots. Twilight really is the best time to be out there with a camera.
The soft blues and pinks in the sky over the water are so true to a real Queensland morning that I keep catching myself staring at it. It’s hung in my hallway, and the way the light shifts across the print throughout the day makes it feel alive.
