This supersized version of the popular Japanese rubber stamp set is fully functional, but the sculptural typographic design is equally suited as a decorative element on your desk or shelf. The bold and lyrical design has not changed since the early Showa period. Comes beautifully packaged and eminently giftable.

The oversized letters are way bigger than I expected, but that's exactly why I keep them out on my desk instead of tucked in a drawer. Inked the "A" for a birthday card and it pressed clean without any blotching.

Bought these to label my spice jars and the impressions come out clean and bold. Only gripe is the ink pads sold separately cost almost as much as the stamps. Still, the typographic look is nice enough that I leave the set out on my desk.

Stamping my return address on envelopes is so much quicker now, and the impressions come out crisp every time. Only gripe is the storage box — the lid doesn't snap shut, so I keep them loose in a drawer instead. Still, they look good enough sitting on my desk that I don't mind.
